Quint Chiropractic Helping patients in the Wilmington and surrounding communities achieve happier, healthier and higher qualities of life!

Dr. Christopher Harris is a native of the small town of Roxboro, NC where he graduated as a member of the National Honor Society and with Cum Laude honors from Person High School. After high school, he moved to Wilmington, NC to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, graduating in December 2005 with Cum Laude honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Pre-Medical Sciences. After graduating from UNCW, he traveled to Davenport, Iowa where he attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, known throughout the Chiropractic profession as the “Fountainhead” of Chiropractic. He again finished near the top of this graduating class with Cum Laude honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2009. Upon graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Harris moved back to Wilmington, NC where he practiced for more than four years, helping to manage and operate three separate Chiropractic offices in the Wilmington, Wallace and Clinton areas. While practicing in Wilmington, he had the pleasure and opportunity to treat a wide range of patients, from infants to adults. He also had the opportunity to be part of the sports medicine team providing Chiropractic health care to a local professional soccer team, the Wilmington Hammerheads (USL Professional Soccer League), the team Chiropractor and head trainer for a semi-professional football team, the Wilmington Tigers, as well as treating several members of the Wilmington Sea Dawgs professional basketball team (To***co Road Basketball League). He also spent time providing care for several athletes from several different athletic programs that are a part of Cape Fear Community College, including men’s and women’s soccer as well as the men’s and women’s basketball programs. In 2014, Dr. Harris relocated to the triad region of North Carolina and practiced as an associate Chiropractor with Brittian Chiropractic Center, located in Winston-Salem, NC. While there, he helped manage an already established practiced and helped the practice grow and become even more successful. Knowing his heart was still a part of the salty air lifestyle of the coast, he moved back to Wilmington, NC in August of 2016, taking over a practice that has been established in the Wilmington area for over 12 years. Quint Chiropractic has been a staple Chiropractic office in the Wilmington area for many years and was established and founded by Dr. Timothy Quint, also a fellow Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate (class of 2005). Dr. Harris has always had a passion for sports, and taking care of the athlete ranging from the weekend warrior to the elite level professional athlete. Because of his affinity for the athletic and active population, he chose to continue his education even further with several post-graduate certifications. He has completed the necessary coursework and has attained credentialing as a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) as well as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). In April 2020, he completed necessary requirements and becoming one of less than 500 Chiropractors worldwide with the designation as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), one of the profession's most challenging, highly regarded and sought after certifications. He is one of only two actively practicing Chiropractors in North Carolina with the DACBSP certification. In April 2020 he also attained an International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC). He is also actively pursuing Diplomate certifications in the field of rehabilitation, nutrition, orthopaedics, neurology, forensics, occupational health, applied kinesiology, as well as a Diplomate certification as a Chiropractic Internist. Dr. Harris is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Behavior Change Specialist (BCS), Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC), and Women's Fitness Specialist (WFS). He is also certified by the National Council on Strength and Fitness as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS). Dr. Harris is also one of the few providers in Wilmington, NC that holds multiple certifications through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). Through TPI, Dr. Harris holds certification as a Medical Level 2, Power Level 2 and Fitness Level 2 provider which allows the opportunity for those in the golfing realm to be analyzed in different aspects regarding golfing posture as well as the golf swing. Dr. Harris is the only Chiropractor in Wilmington, NC that has taken the proper and necessary live coursework through RockTape USA to become certified in the utilization and application of RockBlade tools (FMT) to provide Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) for soft tissue related symptoms and conditions. He has held this certification since February 2017. He also has training though the Functional Movement Systems, attaining credentials and certifications with the Functional Movement Screen (FMS Level 2), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Level 2), Functional Capacity Screen (FCS), and with the Y-Balance Test (YBT) also associated with the Functional Movement System.

Living with Neuropathy? There Is Hope & Advanced Relief ✨

if you’ve been diagnosed with neuropathy, you know the daily struggle: the tingling, numbness, burning pain, and often the feeling of helplessness. You’re not alone, and we understand.

Neuropathy can manifest in different ways, often impacting your quality of life:

1️⃣ Peripheral Neuropathy: Affects nerves outside the brain and spinal cord, commonly in the hands and feet (tingling, numbness, weakness). Often linked to diabetes, chemotherapy, substance abuse, or injury.

2️⃣ Autonomic Neuropathy: Affects nerves controlling involuntary functions like heart rate, digestion or blood pressure.

3️⃣ Focal Neuropathy: Affects a single nerve, like carpal tunnel syndrome.

Who does it affect? Millions! Diabetics, individuals post-chemotherapy, those with autoimmune diseases, people exposed to toxins, or even unexplained cases. The common thread? A search for relief that truly works.

At our office, we offer a powerful, non-invasive co-managing therapeutic modality to help you reclaim comfort and function: Class IV Laser Therapy.

This isn’t just about masking symptoms; it’s about stimulating your body‘s natural healing processes:

⚡️ Reduces Pain & Inflammation: Targets the source of discomfort.

🌟 Improves Nerve Function: Helps damaged nerves to heal and to communicate better.

🩸 Increased Circulation: Promotes blood flow to affected areas, crucial for nerve health.

💊 Drug-Free & Non-Invasive: A gentle option to complement your current care.

Imagine less tingling, more feeling, and a significant reduction in burning sensations. Our patients are finding remarkable success in managing their neuropathy, symptoms and improving their daily lives.

Ready to explore a new path to relief? We are here to help you understand if Class IV Laser Therapy can be a vital part of your neuropathy management plan.
