FEB 17TH SOLAR ECLIPSE | The Solar Eclipse on February 17, 2026, at 7:01 AM EST is a cosmic call to move forward, fast. Many planets and asteroids are tightly clustered in Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries. Timelines are collapsing and a sense of urgency is filling the sky. This eclipse strongly encourages us to look ahead rather than linger in the past.

Let’s break down some of this cosmic significance:
✨ The Sun and Moon are exactly conjunct at 28°49' Aquarius, while the North Node and Venus canoodle at 8° Pisces. These changes around us — they link back to the soul’s bigger destiny.
📝 Vesta and Mars conjoin at 19° Aquarius, bringing determined, strategic energy. For some you’ll be called forward through a vision or idea you can’t seem to shake. If this applies, make a strategic plan and feel empowered to move on it! Stay focused on getting from Point A to Point B for now.
🌋Uranus in Ta**us is squaring the Sun and Moon, shaking up the status quo. This can be very uncomfortable and serves as the voice of doubt looking for security through change. Plan for what you can, but understand that leaps of faith are opportunities to deepen trust in God / Spirit / the Universe.
🪐 Saturn and Neptune are preparing to unite at 0°45’ Aries on Friday, February 20th. This rare alignment points to a new world order initiating in the Aries part of your chart.

Ready or not, the future is now! And the good news? You’re ready! 😉 If you'd like support interpreting these energies and how they play out within your personal chart, book an astrology consult through the website.

Newsletter: “Fear, and the Lies It Tells” | Over the next two weeks, we’ll see Saturn enters Aries, a solar eclipse in the final degrees of Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune meet at 0º45’ Aries. Any one of these would mark a turning point and unfolding of important energy. All three occurring within days of each other speaks to the moment we're living in. There is a strong cosmic call to move beyond fear, and to understand how it has shaped us into who we are today. Individually and collectively.

“As above, so below … as the Universe, so the Soul.” (Hermes Trismegistus)

This ancient principle suggests that what happens at the collective level mirrors what's unfolding within us, and vice versa. The intensity we're witnessing in the outer world isn't separate from what many of us are navigating internally. They're reflections of the same evolutionary pressure, asking us to expand and transform beyond the limitations of fear.

As we hold honest space for this awareness and growth, we often sense that the ways we have coped in the past are no longer sustainable. If you are sensing this in any area of life, it is important to trust that inner-knowing.

The awareness, sense of urgency, and emotions rising from deep within — they all work like a big cosmic soup. Each is a potent ingredient working to nourish and detoxify simultaneously. At times it may seem bitter and unpleasant, but it is in this space of awareness that we rework our understanding of and relationship to personal power. When we are aware of expired behaviors, thoughts, and patterns, we eventually have choice. And where we have choice, we have power.

In this sense, it is good to be triggered, a blessing to be uncomfortable. It means you have growing awareness and free will, and an expanding consciousness that is contributing to a new world built on ideas, courage, community, and justice. Fear can be integrated constructively from this space — with compassion and accountability, rather than avoidance, enmeshment, shame, or anger.

The astrological energies of February and March point to the importance of holding space for the parts of ourselves that are ready to not be scared — the parts of us longing to know what lies beyond fear’s absolutism. This curiosity and longing is the wise part of the soul, the Higher Self, illuminating the path to healing, liberation, and peace.

Astrologically, a consequential week lies ahead. The rising political tension and visible unrest mirror the Mars-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius, exact on Tuesday, Jan 27th. Aquarius speaks to the people, collective systems, and the future we are shaping together. Mars brings confrontation and action; Pluto governs power, destruction, and profound transformation. What we are witnessing is not subtle. It is a struggle between shadow and light, between forces that seek control and forces that demand change.

Aquarius is sometimes misunderstood as emotionally detached. Its compassion actually runs very deep. This compassion is expressed through vision, ethics, and problem-solving. Its impulse is to ask, “How do we build something better from here?,” which is an extremely kind sentiment when you think about what a community in mourning needs. That perspective matters now. It reminds us that despair is not the endpoint.

Just before this conjunction, Neptune enters Aries, initiating a 14-year cycle that will ask each of us to meet a new area of life with courage. Collectively, we begin to move out of the fog of Pisces, an era marked by emotional saturation, confusion, and exhaustion from absorbing the world’s suffering. We officially step into a phase that demands action and leadership from all of us.

This week activates strong yang energy, pushing us beyond paralysis and into response. Listen closely to the places within you that say, “Enough!” That signal is a source of resolve. May it embolden not only your own choices, but the courage of those around you.

Wilmington! -- I'm having a hard time finding conference room space to host classes in. I need table/chairs for people to comfortably take notes, a way to project my screen, and reliable wifi. Ideally not a bar! Do you know of any? Bonus points if it's a woman-owned business.

CAPRICORN NEW MOON - JAN 18th | Newsletter excerpt -- the chart is cast for Washington, DC: "We're standing at the threshold between Capricorn and Aquarius, between preservation and revolution. Capricorn wants to build for the long haul, to preserve for the future. But Aquarius, ever the rebel, asks what's really worth preserving? Aquarius pushes back on the status quo and requires change. 'If you really want this to be here tomorrow,' it seems to say, 'it must be adapted to thrive in tomorrow’s world.'

"Pallas Athena, Vesta, and Venus are all feminine archetypes situated next to Pluto, Lord of the Underworld. This symbolism is not lost as we mourn the life of a mother at the hands of state violence. Many myths speak of the transformation that occurs when the feminine is dragged into the Underworld, akin to a deep and desolate winter that eventually must give way to spring. But unlike the timing of the seasons — shifts guaranteed by our planet’s rotation around the sun — the timing of personal and collective transformation works differently. Winter persists until the soul and psyche conjure spring.

"Expect ongoing upheaval, and ask how these events (personal and collective) are working towards liberation. What are they asking us to witness about ourselves and each other? Listen closely for guidance from the feminine; Pallas Athena sits at the very degree point of the solar eclipse next month, so wherever you are called to stand up and take a stance carries especially potent symbolism."

In my most recent newsletter, I discuss a concept known as the astrological ages and specifically the shift from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. Here’s an excerpt: “Unlike the Piscean merging of self into faith, the Aquarian age emphasizes individuality. When people are free to be themselves, the collective benefits.

“Aquarius is practical and believes knowledge should be used, not hoarded. Information becomes more accessible, and even our definition of knowledge will shift. Astrology — an Aquarian discipline — along with other esoteric or historically marginalized practices, can find renewed relevance and legitimacy during these times.”

How that looks will differ for each of us, and that’s a good thing! But if you’re looking to expand your astrological knowledge and find community, consider joining Saturday’s class, “Reading the Birth Chart.” Info + registration link in the comments.

💥JANUARY ASTROLOGY: The year opens with unusually powerful and reactive energy. In the first days of January, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are all out of bounds, bringing volatile energy into the new year.

When planets are out of bounds, they don’t play by their typical set of rules. There's a sense of impulsivity and a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later.

For those who purchased the 2026 Extended Year-Ahead Readings, I talked about January being a month of mounting tension. As the pressure builds to the larger climax points in February (including the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and our first eclipse of the year), we may be sensing that something is about to shift — that something has to give.

The Saturn-Neptune conjunction has asked us to face disillusionment, endings, and grief — to let go of dreams that can no longer be sustained. This is bittersweet and trying in so many ways. On January 26th, Neptune leaves Pisces for the last time in our lifetime. These endings are meant to be permanent, and the parts of our lives facing dissolution need us to be honest and brave through the transition. In time, a beautiful rebirth will occur as Saturn and Neptune work their way through Aries and get space to do their own thing again.

As the stellium of personal planets in Capricorn oppose Jupiter in Cancer and form a t-square to Chiron in Aries mid-month (especially active January 9-18th), we're feeling the energy of the unhealed child. Capricorn is the provider and structurer while Cancer is the nurturer and keeper of emotional safety. We need both, balanced and healthy, to navigate life as empowered beings.

As they each come to square Chiron in Aries, we may feel especially sensitive to the things we didn't receive as children and aren't receiving as adults. The reactions and behaviors you see playing out in public — from politicians to bosses to friends and family — are reflective of deeply personal, unhealed wounding. It doesn't excuse injustice, violence, greed, or debilitating selfishness and entitlement. We are each responsible for our unhealed inner-child. But it does point out the importance of healing work at this particular moment in human history.

As I sit with these energies, I’m reminded of the quote from the Talmud that is highlighted in Schindler's List — "He who saves one life saves the world entire."

As we embark on a powerful and transformational journey ahead, may we come to save the parts of us that deserved something different — at any time in our lives, but especially during childhood.
