Checking back in on some of our patient's most recent adventures and accomplishments... Well Perris had quite a summer to remember! She crushed her ACL rehab last year and then returned to training to make the Olympic BMX team. She represented Team USA with an awesome showing in the BMX Freestyle event to win Silver! We are incredibly proud. Awesome job Perris!!

We are excited to be expanding our services to include pelvic health therapy. Whether you are dealing with urinary or bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, Pudendal neuralgia, post natal/post c-section or colorectal cancer dysfunction, we can help! Feedback from our patients in regards to care provided by Erin Johanns, DPT at our 17th St location and Rachel Wolinski, DPT at our Autumn Hall location has been overwhelmingly positive!

We want to extend a huge "that a boy" to RJ Sales! RJ was drafted in the 10th round by the Detroit Tigers, a year removed from Tommy John repair and intensive rehab in our clinic! RJ starred for UNCW this past spring. His accolades include multiple CAA pitcher of the week honoree and 1st team all CAA. He fashioned an 11-3 record with a 3.41 ERA. We look forward to following your professional career! We appreciate the trust you put in us to help you get back on the mound!

We have really enjoyed working with UNCW Cheerleading. Several of their athletes are back out performing thanks to their hard work under our skillful guidance!

We had a great time at Axes and Allies and then at Bowstring Brewyard last Friday! We proved to be quick learners with ax and knife throwing. Folks have always bragged on our staff in that everyone is very pleasant and we seem to get along. If there was ever a chance to exact some revenge, it was while throwing those weapons! Blessed to work with such a fun group!

Best of luck to the Hoggard Vikings tomorrow night as they play for the Eastern championship and a spot in the NCHSAA State Football Finals! Things were not looking nearly as good the week leading into the playoffs as their starting QB broke his index finger on his throwing hand. Good thing he was referred to Jane Burchfield, OTR/L, CHT, the best hand therapist in the land! Jane fabricated a custom finger splint to provide max protection along with functionality. Each week she has made adjustments to the splint which has contributed to the QB's success - 6 TD passes last week! Awesome job Jane and Go Vikings!

2023 marks our 40th year providing the very best physical therapy and hand therapy services in Wilmington, NC! Thousands upon thousands have walked through our doors. We have always surrounded ourselves with the very best therapists and staff, all dedicated to our patients’ goals! This will never change. We have weathered the changes in the profession and adapted for the better. We have expanded to include 3 clinics (17th St, Porters Neck, and Autumn Hall) to better serve the growing community in Southeastern NC. It has been a pleasure to serve our patients. We will continue to work and stay up to date on the best practices to maintain the trust of the community and referring providers in our area!

We want to welcome Erin Johanns, DPT to our staff! Erin is from northern Ohio before moving to study exercise science and eventually physical therapy at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Following graduation, she worked as a travel therapist exploring the country and dedicating time to various hikes. She decided to make Wilmington her home and spends most weekends with her dog and exploring her new home. As a therapist Erin loves treating orthopedic especially dysfunction related to the back, pelvis, shoulders, feet, and ankles.

Maggie is back on the court for her senior year! She worked so hard with us during her rehab and it has paid off! The Wilmington StarNews has an excellent article about her return to the court and the impact she is making.

The Hurricanes star volleyball player was left sidelined after a huge injury last fall.
