Marie wanted to share her story for anyone who thinks they’re “too old” or that surgery just isn’t for them.

"My first post ever is a Thank you to Dr Halbert and Christiana Care. I also want to encourage anyone, in their late 50's, to take the steps to better health. My surgery was Jan 2024 I turned 59 that year. The most recent photo is from Valentines Day 2026, no filters. I was blessed with no surgical complications and no real issues. I had stalls, don't we all?! I hope this brief post is encouraging. It is never to late."

Last week we celebrated Administrative Professionals Week, and it was such a fun time recognizing our amazing team! Each day had a different theme, and we wrapped it up on Friday with jeans and our favorite color shirts.

We’re missing Charise and Carla in these photos, but we still wanted to give a huge thank you to our entire team for your hard work and dedication. We truly appreciate you!

Bonnie, our amazing nurse practitioner, had a fantastic time representing our team at the Obesity Medicine Conference in San Diego (April 10–12)! 🌴☀️

Between learning the latest in obesity medicine and connecting with other professionals, she even squeezed in a little sightseeing. Don’t worry though—she’s sticking with us and not trading scrubs for a Hollywood career anytime soon! 🎬😉
