Morning Reflection as we approach MLK Day: Nonviolence and Love at The Center

The synchronicity of the Monks Walk for Peace and the upcoming MLK day of celebration bare witness to the demonstrations of and the tenets fostered and facilitated by the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King.

I was nine years old when Reverend King was assassinated. I remember it clearly till this day. Our family was sitting at our small table in our kitchen having dinner while watching a small black and white TV sitting on the kitchen counter which always accompanied our dinner meals. Things during that time always had a set pace and schedule. When my dad would come home from working at the lumberyard, we were all expected to gather in the kitchen for our meal. There were certain cartoons that played on the tv such as Speed Racer, Ultraman, Aquaman, Spiderman, Felix the cat, Bugsbunny, Roadrunner. It was always channel 17. One of few channels we were able to get at the time. And this is the channel we would always watch at dinner time. The programming was programming to say the least.

That particular evening those shows were interrupted by a News Bullentin. Dr. King had been assassinated; April 4th 1968. I remember feeling a deep profound sadness and started crying uncontrollably while my family looked on. I was always deemed to be very sensitive. Although I did not fully understand why I was so upset ; I felt it, the sadness was pervasive and overwhelming. My heart was hurting and it was more than my own sadness. Later as an adult I began to understand what my sadness was a little more as well as the meaning of that sadness and what Rev. Dr. Martin Luther Kings Reflection meant to the world. He was not only a demonstration but a reflection of who we are to be in this world and Walk in life as well as with each other.

Dr. King and Thich Nhat Hanh, the Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Monk had a profound and deep relationship. When Dr. King was assassinated Thich Nhat Hanh was in New York at the time and extremely devastated. After Dr. King had passed Thich Nhat Hanh made a deep vowel to continue to share their joint work and teachings building the beloved community. Their joint work focused on Peace and Love.
History is yet providing us with another opportunity...

Right now the world is surrounded by alot of extreme chaos reflective of that time in 1968. And now in 2025 the magnification of those elements still persists but there is a recognition of the power and strength spoke and demonstrated by Dr. Martin Luther King as well as demonstrated by the Monks. Love is the most powerful instrument we as humans have. We have yet another opportunity to reremember that as we come into this day of celebration.

Early Morning Channel: The Becoming

Remember the Universe will always observe
through the true reflection of the heart...........

In the new energies being presented on the planet; true intent carried will always manifest in its own echo.....

Frequencies which may project themselves on the surface as those of greater intent; but are misaligned through self motivation and preservation will fade over a course of time through choice and experience.

When the door is opened for this realization to be rerembered; these patternations will be observed...and a shift in time continuum will occur supporting intent.......

It is important for each Soul to reflect their own frequencies in the most authentic and truest in form the ebb and flow of this movement understanding collectively ....the Universal truth that we are all
ONE...

This elevation in consciousness will exists in the truest of forms of compassion, reciprocity, empathy and unconditional love experiencing itself and manifesting in human form....

The Becoming... the Universe does not disquise itself..its only intent is to be what it is.. pure Love....and we are a reflection of that...

Visual Art & Community Exhibition

Meet Me At The Altar is a two-month visual art exhibition curated by Ari Sianeh, inviting the public into a reflective and grounding space centered on the inner worlds of Black women, femmes, q***r women, and gender-expansive creatives.

Through visual art, immersive sound, and thoughtful spatial design, the exhibition explores themes of healing, identity, softness, resilience, memory, and personal transformation. Visitors are invited to slow down, reflect, and engage with the work in a way that feels intimate, restorative, and community-centered.

This exhibition is not religious, but it is spiritual — creating room for reflection, emotional release, and connection, regardless of belief or background. Whether you are churched, unchurched, exploring, or simply curious, Meet Me At The Altar offers a welcoming space to pause and take in art that speaks to the heart.
