Lisa joined Aperion Care Wilmington in February and earned her Master of Science in Nursing this past June. She is now pursuing her goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

Passionate about quality care, Lisa is dedicated to supporting positive outcomes—whether it’s an employee completing schooling or a resident returning home after therapy.

"Aperion Care Wilmington has a family-oriented feel," she says. "Compassion, kindness and empathy are at the core of what we stand for and is shown by the team ever day, every shift. Knowing my team has my utmost respect gives me the confidence they can handle anything thrown their way."

Looking ahead, Lisa plans to enhance staff education through weekly trainings on nursing concepts and skills, promote teamwork across all shifts and disciplines, and place continued focus on listening to and addressing the needs and wants of residents.
