At Active Day of Clinton, we are delighted to acknowledge the numerous birthdays that occur in December. Yesterday, we were thrilled to celebrate not one but two birthdays! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Peyton(yesterday) and our staff member Edith(today)! 🥳🥳🥳We express our gratitude to Peyton's mother for kindly providing treats for him to share with his peers! We had a great day!

Last week, we celebrated Thanksgiving with a 'Friendsgiving' dinner, featuring live music by the incredibly talented Mr. Bob Ford. We are deeply thankful for Bob's invaluable contributions to our members, who always eagerly anticipate his visits. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously brought a dish or donated items for our dinner. We could not host these extraordinary events without our amazing support group, so thank you all!

Happy Sunday! We would like to bring to your attention a few important announcements. Our monthly bowling outing, previously scheduled for Friday, will now take place tomorrow, 11/24/2025. Cost is $10 for anyone wanting to attend. On Wednesday, 11/26/2025, is our monthly movie outing, featuring Zootopia 2, also at a cost of $10. Please note that we will be closed on Thursday, 11/27/2025, in observance of Thanksgiving. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. On Monday, 11/17, Cadien, also known as Caidenator, celebrated his 26th birthday. We extend belated birthday wishes to Cadien. We are delighted to celebrate another year with his vibrant personality. His big smile and infectious laugh make our center very enjoyable! Happy belated birthday Caiden!

Last Friday we celebrated National Pickle Day by sampling homemade pickle salsa. It was a hit with our members as well as our staff! Very yummy😋 Thank you to our special guest who came up with this recipe and made it himself!
We ended Friday with Karaoke!! Sarah, Natalie, Daniel, Brennen and Eden put on a great show! 👏👏🎤🎶

Last week, we commemorated Chicken Soup for the Soul Day with a cooking group project. Following a brief educational session on the significance of the day's name, the group assembled a care package containing homestyle chicken noodle soup to express appreciation to the staff at the Clinton County Board of Developmental Disabilities for their exceptional service to the individuals they support.

Yesterday, we observed Veterans Day by attending our local Veterans Memorial ceremony. Following the ceremony, we had the privilege of hearing from a Veteran who graciously shared his military experiences. Jeff, who proudly served 24 years in the Army, including 4 combat tours, now serves as the executive director at the Clinton County Ohio Veterans Service Commission Office. Jeff's leadership, generosity, and unwavering sense of duty have profoundly impacted numerous individuals worldwide. He exemplifies the true meaning of continued service beyond the call of duty. We extend our sincerest gratitude for all that you have done and continue to do. It was a profound honor to have you visit us.
