Hi, I’m Julie, and I work for Assisting Hands of Wilmington.
I took this job hoping to learn more about the healthcare industry and to be part of something meaningful—but I found so much more than that.
What I’ve seen here has changed me.
Every single day, I watch our caregivers show up with a level of compassion, patience, and dedication that’s hard to put into words. They don’t just care for clients—they build real, human connections. They become someone our clients trust, rely on, and truly love.
I’ve seen those relationships grow into something beautiful… and I’ve also seen the heartbreak that comes with loss. Those are the moments that stay with you. But what makes this place so special is that no one carries that weight alone. We lean on each other. We support each other. We grieve together, and we lift each other back up.
When I first started, I thought I was joining a workplace. Now, I know I joined a family.
Our scheduler works tirelessly behind the scenes, doing everything possible to make sure no one is ever left without care. And every person here is always willing to step in, help out, and stand beside one another—no questions asked.
That’s why I’m sharing this.
We’re hiring caregivers across the North Shore of Massachusetts—but we’re not just looking to fill a role. We’re looking for people with heart. People who care deeply. People who want to make a real difference in someone’s life.
We take pride in who we hire—every caregiver completes a medical quiz, background check, and orientation training—because this work matters.
If you’ve ever felt called to care for others… if you want to be part of something bigger than yourself… if you’re looking for a place where you truly belong—I hope you’ll consider joining us.
Because here, you’re not just joining a team.
You’re becoming part of a family.
