2025 was a wild ride. But I’m stronger, wiser, and clearer than I’ve ever been. 💪
For many, this year has been a period of metamorphosis. With 2025 being the Year of the Wood Snake, it has ushered in a cycle of shedding, refinement, and truth. By releasing what no longer serves our wellness or growth, many have undergone major and often difficult transformations. While this process hasn’t been easy, it has been essential.
You may have felt a push to take an honest look at your life, stripping away anything that drains your peace or pulls you away from who you are becoming. This can include outdated patterns, unspoken expectations, and even the “snakes in the grass.” Along the way, you may have learned to let go of things you once clung to out of habit, fear, or familiarity. Maybe you were also reminded of the importance of aligning your life with your values, purpose, and inner sense of peace.
The truth is, sometimes the hardest years are the most life-changing. They push us in ways we never expected, breaking us open so that we can grow in new directions, toward the light. They teach us resilience by forcing us to face challenges head-on. They show us clarity by removing distractions. And most importantly, they remind us that growth is often gruelling before it gets good.
I don't know about you, but for me 2025 reminded me to prioritize the things that truly matter, including relationships, my well-being, and the pursuit of a life filled with purpose and authenticity. While it may not have been your favourite year, perhaps you can find gratitude in what it taught you.
If 2025 felt heavy for you, know this: the most difficult and uncomfortable years are often the ones that shape us into who we are meant to be. They clear the way for something better. Hold onto the lessons, trust the process, and remember that transformation doesn’t happen in comfort zones, but in the mess, struggle, uncertainty, and the release. Here’s to welcoming the light that comes after the storm.
