You don’t have a weak core.
You have a disconnected one.

Through targeted and intentional movements, MELT Neurostrength rewires your muscle-connective tissue-brain connection.

You know how in the old days there used to be women who worked as telephone operators, connecting calls? I think of the body like that. When a body is not operating efficiently, it’s as if the call got connected to the wrong number.

For example, whenever you attempt core work, your hip flexors just won’t stop contracting. This is an adaption that your body has developed over many years. It quite literally cannot “place the right call” to the core. The connection isn’t there.

With practice and awareness, you can reset these pathways to once again use your core properly.⚡️

Build the foundation and strength will follow.

Smiling is the best strategy for balance, to “be one with the wobble” as I say in MELT Neurostrength class.

Are you being controlling with your balance?!

Gripping your toes, tightening your jaw, and trying to stay completely still?

Let me ask you, do you stay completely still when you are out for a run? No, you would look like the terminator. 😳

Skiing? Well it may present as an 80s style hip swivel technique with that upper body rigidly pointed down mountain. Retro points, but not super efficient. ⛷️

Walking? If your upper body did not rotate while you took a step (that is a single leg balance!) you would look like the tin soldier from Oz. 🤖

Balance.
Is.
Dynamic!

Best to smile and take a deep breath. Your body will relax and with consistent practice it will improve quickly.
