Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meal preparation.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure a safe environment
- Foster independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for individuals under your care
- Community Networking: going out in the community and interacting with non-disabled people
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to develop and implement care plans

Requirements:
- Previous experience in developmental disabilities direct support .
- Strong understanding of ADLs and personal care techniques
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to travel between client locations (if applicable)
- Must pass background checks and drug screening
