We are so proud of everyone who participated in the digital literacy class offered through Wilson Community College. DOI participants worked hard to learn new digital literacy skills and they were thrilled to earn a device from the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments for completing all of the required coursework. Thank you to Susan and everyone at WCC who helped to teach our students and guide them throughout the NorthStar material. Awesome job!!! 👏😄💻

We had an awesome time attending ACT! for Youth’s production of Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder! 🦷😆 The show was amazing and we had fun exploring the Edna Boykin Cultural Center. Thank you so much to Wilson Arts for this opportunity! We love reading Junie B. Jones books at DOI, so it was really cool to see the play!!

The DOI employment services spotlight for March goes to Xavius! We are so proud of him for getting his dream job as a solid waste technician with the City of Goldsboro. He has been employed for almost a year now! He excels at all of his duties, but especially enjoys being a jumper. A jumper’s responsibility is to jump off of the trash truck to gather the trash. Awesome job Xavius, keep up the great work!! 👏😄
