To round out our reintroductions of the team is the great Catherine Warren, a certified naturopath and P.A.!

Here is a bit more about Catherine!

Catherine Warren is a Board Certified Naturopath through the American Naturopathic Medical Board, has completed the 100-hour Advanced EAV Training Course through the Academy of International Bioenergetics Sciences, and is a certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA. Committed to being a lifelong learner, she continues to study and implement principles of health and wholeness for spirit, soul and body. She has gathered tools and techniques from various sources, pulling from homeopathy, herbology, nutritional foundations, energy medicine, TCM, acupressure and knowledge of western medicine and modern pharmacology to bring together an integrative view with a goal of whole health and abundant life. Her passion for celebrating the ingenious Creator of the human being shares space with passions for her family and friends, salt water, music, good food and great books.

Our next proud reintroduction is of the wonderful Janie Jennings, a talented pilates instructor!

Here are some more words about Janie herself!

A certified Pilates instructor, yoga instructor and a former dance teacher, Janie's love for Pilates began while exploring her options for pain management after an arthritis diagnosis. During her search she discovered the Joseph Pilates Classical Method of Pilates.

Janie studied with Laura B. Grant, a second generation Master Pilates teacher of Loita San Miguel, who studied under Joseph Pilates. She opened Janie Jennings Pilates in 2005 and continues to have a passion for sharing this work.

For our next reintroduction, we would love to bring Trista Waddell to the spotlight!

Here is some more about Trista!

Trista is one of our lovely Front Office Heros at Synchrony who you will see at the 2-3 days a week! She is currently enrolled in the Surgical Tech program at WCC. Our hero Trista also enjoys spending time with her family and dogs as well as taking trips to the beach. Trista is a great addition to the Synchrony Community as someone who is very family and community oriented!

For our next introduction is the amazing Galen Okazaki, a licensed Physical Therapist!

Here's a little bite more about Galen and his practice!

Galen has anchored his practice on a strong manual therapy background for orthopedics plus advanced expertise in neurological rehabilitation for adults and children. His traditional and osteopathic training contributes to a comprehensive approach to physical therapy, and his curiosity and openness to learning and developing novel techniques and modalities leads to optimized outcomes for his patients. He is a specialist in developmental screening for newborns, infants, and children and gets excited about pairing multi-planar movements with manual therapy to maximize long lasting results effectively.

Next we would love to reintroduce a familiar face of Dorothy J. Favinger as a Naturopath on the Synchrony team!

Here's a little bit more about Dorothy!

Congrats to Synchrony’s newest Certified Natural Health Consultant! If you have been in our building, you will recognize Dorothy as an excellent member of our Front Office Management team, and we are excited to announce her role has shifted! She will be the head of New Client Onboarding starting July 16th, and in the coming months will be available for sick visits and 1:1 EAV appointments. Dorothy has been a lifelong learner with many interests and is currently focused on the structural makeup of plants and how they mimic the bodily structures they influence as remedies. Dorothy is originally from New Jersey but has been living and working in North Carolina for many years. Dorothy enjoys spending her spare time painting, woodworking, and in other artistic pursuits! She spends a lot of time with her family - grandchildren especially!

Tori explains her journey best in her own words!

Through dedicated research, certified training, and a deep desire to restore her family’s health, Tori transformed her personal journey into a professional mission. Today, as a certified Nutritional Wellness Consultant, she works closely with new clients to create individualized nutrition and lifestyle plans that support hormonal balance, child development, and overall wellness. Tori brings empathy, resilience, and real-world insight to her practice, helping others reclaim their health through informed, sustainable choices.

My mission : Supporting you on your unique journey towards body-soul-spirit wholeness through integrative and therapeutic bodywork.
This approach utilizes massage therapy and craniosacral therapy to assist your body in releasing what no longer serves your highest good. This level of therapeutic bodywork gives your body the time, space, and opportunity to unwind and heal.

I create a supportive and trauma-informed space for my clients to engage with the story their body wants to tell them. This occurs in a non-judgmental environment that encourages self-empowerment throughout the healing process. The body and soul already know how to heal, it simply needs the opportunity!
