Holding Space for Women Who’ve Always Put Others First

Some women enter hospice still checking on everyone else. Still trying to make sure the kids are okay. Still offering comfort instead of receiving it.

We created the Felicity Program for these women. Felicity is a women-centered hospice program that recognizes the quiet strength of those who’ve spent their lives caring for others. It’s a space where they no longer have to hold everything together.

Instead, we hold space for them.
With gentleness.
With presence.
With care that doesn’t ask them to be strong one more time.

Today is the longest night of the year. For many families in hospice, this season already feels heavy with grief, with change, with the quiet ache of letting go.

The solstice reminds us of something powerful:

Not every woman enters hospice with the same story. Some carry histories of trauma, physical, emotional, or sexual, that shape how they experience care, touch, trust, and vulnerability.

Our Felicity Program was created to meet these women with the care they deserve.

Felicity offers trauma-informed hospice support designed specifically for women. This includes:

Why create a women-centered hospice program?
Because most hospice models weren’t designed with women’s full stories in mind.

We created the Felicity program to offer hospice care that centers the lived experiences of women. That means care shaped by understanding.

Many of the women we serve have spent decades putting others first. They’ve been caregivers, quiet warriors, survivors. They deserve care that meets them with presence, gentleness, and respect.

Our Women's Hospice program is trauma-informed. It’s deeply personal. And it’s built to honor the specific needs of women at the end of life.

This is about affirming identity, honoring choice, and making space for healing, even now.
