Here’s the thing most providers don’t realize:
You’re not stuck at $5K months because you’re bad at what you do.
You’re stuck because no one taught you the business of what you do.
And for OTs, SLPs, PTs, OMTs, IBCLCs, chiropractors, and functional practitioners…
that gap hits HARD.
So here’s the truth no one says out loud ⤵️
1️⃣ “Word of mouth” won’t get you to $10K–$20K months.
Word of mouth = random.
You need a referral rhythm — not a referral hope.
Here’s the math:
→ 10 aligned touchpoints/week → 4–6 consults → 2–3 new clients
→ At $2.5K–$3K per package = $7.5K–$9K/month (from predictable systems)
That’s how you stabilize income without ads, insurance, or social stress.

2️⃣ If your offer feels fuzzy, people won’t buy.
Not because they don’t value you…
but because they don’t understand what they’re saying “yes” to.
Here’s the fix:
✔ Replace “I do OMT/SLP/OT/PT”
with
✔ “I help X go from ___ to ___ without ___.”
Clear = bookable.
Clear = premium pricing.
Clear = conversions.

3️⃣ Your consult isn’t converting because it’s unstructured — not because you’re bad at sales.
No one in healthcare teaches us how to lead a consult.
The goal isn’t to “pitch.”
It’s to:
✔ understand their problem deeper than they can
✔ show them the cost of staying stuck
✔ show them a simple path forward
✔ and give them clarity to choose change
When you do this, “I’ll think about it” practically disappears.
My students consistently close 70–92% of their consults using a humane, calm, connection-first framework.
