Reading Brene Brown's book Braving the Wilderness" and love how she is taking about importance of addressing loneliness. And qoutes neuroscience researcher John Cacioppo saying "Denying you feel lonely makes no more sense than denying you feel hunger". Belonging is so critical to the human experience.

Knowledge is all around but we do have to actively seek it, and when books are being banned those are the ones most needed to be read. Restricting people’s knowledge is a power play to maintain marginalization.

There is so much hate and ignorance. Please take a moment today to be present, to listen, to learn. I sit here today in reflection of the many brave steps the transgender community has done for the LGBT community as a whole, often ignored or dismissed. I reflect on the loss of transgender community members. today I reflect and remember. Tomorrow we act, we fight, we stand together against constant attacks.
