🎅✨ Sensory Santa Christmas Party! ✨🎅
Join us at our Wilton Office on December 20th from 11am–2pm for our annual magical, sensory-friendly holiday celebration! We’ll have sweet treats, fun crafts, and a visit from Santa himself—all in a welcoming environment designed for all kiddos to enjoy.

You can call our office to sign up or let your child’s therapist know during their session.

And great news—this event is open to the community, not just our patients! We’d love to see new and familiar faces join in the holiday fun.

To help keep things calm and comfortable, we’ve blocked off 30-minute time frames with a limited number of kiddos in each slot. This ensures a smooth flow and a less stimulating environment for everyone.

Starting TOMORROW, join us every Tuesday at 9 AM from December 2nd through December 30th for a month full of fun, learning, and holiday cheer! This December, our theme is "Holidays Around the World", where little explorers will discover festive traditions from different cultures. 🌍✨

🍁 Thanksgiving Food Explorers! 🥧🦃
Trying new foods can feel big for little kiddos — but it can also be fun, sensory, and totally pressure-free!

We created this Thanksgiving Food Explorer graphic to help families make mealtime a little more playful this holiday. Encourage your kiddo to touch, smell, tap, lick, crunch, or simply explore the foods on their plate in their own way. Every step counts as a win! 🙌

✨ Tips for success:
• Keep the vibe relaxed and playful
• Celebrate tiny steps — even if it’s just a sniff or a poke
• Model curiosity by trying foods alongside them
• Avoid pressure… exploration is progress!
• Make it a fun game: “Can you be a Food Explorer with me?” 🍽️🕵️‍♀️

🎄🎅🏼Dear PPT friends, family and community;
Our annual giving tree is in full swing! 🌟🎁
If you find it in your heart to give back and adopt a kiddos Christmas Wishlist this holiday season, we have 42 tags ready to go! We anticipate more being added in the next week!

These are the most amazing children and families that are in need of things such as clothing, shoes/boots, hygiene products, etc. or are asking for their favorite toys! Times are tough financially and emotionally, especially during the holiday season, so this would be a tremendous help for their family! ❤️

🔖If you are interested in grabbing a tag, swing into our office and ask to speak to Kayla or Courtney. If you are not local to us and would like to help, we can arrange a meet up or find another way! No matter what, all tags will be fulfilled!

🎄Also, a friendly and firm reminder that every child on this tree is in need this holiday season, so please do not suggest that a child should not be on the tree or request a tag that is “really in need”. We know our patients best and I promise they are all equally deserving of some holiday love and cheer. We don’t need any grinches around our tree 😉

🎁🎀 Please have all gifts delivered back to our office, UNWRAPPED no later than 12/15 so they can be appropriately distributed! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for thinking of our PPT kiddos and families this holiday season!

🎄 We’re almost ready to kick off our Annual Christmas Giving Tree! 🎅🏼

Our Giving Tree is open to any PPT patients and their siblings. Our goal is to have every single tag fulfilled this holiday season! We’ve built some amazing relationships with community members and local businesses, and we’re calling on you to help us make the holidays extra special for the incredible kiddos we serve. 💚

🚨 Important Update for Maine SNAP Recipients 🚨

Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, November SNAP benefits cannot be issued until the shutdown ends or new guidance is provided by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).

✅ SNAP benefits already loaded onto EBT cards remain available for use.
✅ Maine DHHS is still accepting and processing applications, renewals, and updates.

If you receive SNAP, make sure your contact information is up to date with DHHS so you don’t miss important updates.
