Here is a shout out to our fellow Lions Dale Ligi and Joan Green who spent the day at Lounsbury House preparing sandwiches and delivering them to Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury. They prepared 60 sandwiches in total and they will be distributed to feed the homeless in the area. This is just one of the things that The Lions Club of Ridgefield does each month. Interested in getting involved with The Lions Club or want more information on what we do as a service organization? Do not hesitate to reach out!

Friends! Please mark your calendars and get your tickets soon for what is sure to be a terrific night! The first ever SAINT PADDY'S DAY BASH in Ridgefield! There will be authentic Irish music, delicious food, refreshing beverages, and fun activities for all ages. It is going to be catered by O'Deens and there are other meal options if you don't want to dive into the corned beef - although I don't know why you would not!

This past Sunday the Lions Club of Ridgefield dedicated a bench on Main Street to honor the legacy and life of Mike Liberta who was a member of our club for 50 years!! The bench is located right in front of where Mike's store, Liberta's Spirit Shoppe, stood for 28 years. Fellow Lions were joined by Mike's family and friends followed by a reception organized by Lion Sarah Patterson and held at Coldwell Banker. It was a wonderful day to honor a great man!

What a great night at The Lions Club of Ridgefield's Holiday Party! The Lions Club Band was in full swing and set the mood for the festive party! Thank you to everyone that came out and bringing food items to donate to the RVNA pantry.

What a great night at the Ridgefield Holiday Stroll! The Lions Club was so happy to be welcomed into the Lounsbury House to set up an area where people could write letters to the troops. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table after visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Claus and a special shout out to our Lion "Frosty" for spreading even more holiday cheer! And as for these letters that were written, they are already in the mail and being sent far and wide to our troops to help brighten their holidays!
