Fill a glass jar with:

Lemon peels from 4-6 organic lemons

Couple sprigs of whatever herbs you have on hand (I used 1 rosemary and 1 lavender sprig because that’s what’s growing on my porch right now)

Fill jar w white vinegar

Place jar in a cool dark place for 2-3 weeks, shaking daily if you can

Strain out the solids, and dilute your concentrated mixture by half with water in a spray bottle

Now it’s ready to clean for ya! Smells so good!

Earlier this year we found out Mr 222’s got herniated discs in every single lumbar joint, as well as a quarter sized disc fragment floating around in his spinal column that needs to be surgically removed. As you can imagine this is causing a great deal of lower back pain.

This is the result of a horrific car accident that we were involved in 2.5 years ago. We are still fighting for justice in a lawsuit with no end in sight. Anyway, I can’t really say more than that and that’s a story for another day…

While we consult with different surgeons and explore all options available to us, I’m making him a custom tincture to alleviate joint pain, reduce inflammation, and help manage his unrelenting lower back pain.

The tincture I’m crafting for him has several ingredients but I needed to make the Devil’s Claw extract since I didn’t have any on hand and couldn’t find it online. It is highly regarded for treating osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and gout due to its high concentration of iridoid glycosides, particularly harpagoside, which help manage pain and improve mobility. When it’s ready to strain in a few weeks I’ll add the other ingredients and he can begin taking his custom pain relief tincture.

I’ve been cooking with fresh ginger a lot lately and wanted to show you how I save money and time by buying it in bulk and prepping it for your future self 🤗

Now that it’s washed and portioned, I can reach into my freezer and grab the amount I need for anything I’m making. I’ve found it’s easiest to peel it and slice/microplane/fine dice while it’s still frozen.

Add ginger to any dish, dressing, or beverage for warmth, digestive help, and incredible flavor. Ginger and garlic are an unbeatable pair for nutrition and taste 😋

Hello Texas Hill Country! I have closed my storefront and I am selling all of my remaining furniture, retail displays, and whimsical boho decor pieces this weekend, Sat Feb 14th and Sun Feb 15th from 10am-2pm.

This would be a great liquidation sale for local business owners to come and check out as I have lots of shelving, tables, chairs, a nice reception desk, retail display items (tons of options for displaying jewelry), wall art, and more! Everything is very gently used, like new!
