I think it is important to know the struggles my fellow doctors go through. The vast majority of us want to spend time with our patients and do the right thing. Unfortunately, insurance has made it almost impossible for that to happen. If you are a doctor who takes insurance, the company LOWERS your reimbursement while your overhead continues to rise. Many claims are rejected the first time and the doctor's staff grows to deal with this problem.
I know as patients you also face the struggles of battling to get services paid for because the company will find the smallest reason to reject your claim. You are spending a large amount of money for a product you may not even be able to use.
I no longer participate in this system because they are now telling me how to practice medicine.
