A supportive workplace plays a key role in one's ability to successfully breastfeed. When parents and infants are given the support they need, their health and well-being flourish. By removing barriers and reducing stress, we can create an environment where parents can thrive. Workplaces that prioritize lactation accommodations benefit as well, boasting lower employee turnover, higher productivity, and fewer days of work missed. Studies even show that every dollar invested in thoughtful lactation policies and accommodations yields a two to threefold return.
