On top of our Thanksgiving Drive, we are planning to provide precooked/hot meals for any families that don't have access to ovens. We are delivering hot meals Wednesday evening and Thanksgiving morning.

It explains how the state of Virginia is providing emergency nutrition-assistance payments via the EBT card during the federal government shutdown. These payments will be issued weekly instead of monthly for the time being.
