Christopher Bright is a young man who is seen at our Front Royal facility. He has a passion for law enforcement officers and has frequently mentioned knowing the Sheriffs in Wi******er and Frederick County. Warren County Sheriff, Mark Butler brought some of his deputies for a meet and greet at our clinic here in Front Royal. Chris was very surprised and pleased to have this experience. Help save the green space in Wi******er!

Elevate Homes, an out-of-town developer has requested about 28 acres of beautiful green space near Meadow Branch be rezoned to allow for a planned unit development (PUD) so that this green space can be destroyed, and 74 homes built on this land.

We strongly oppose this rezoning request based on: (1) the storm water management system currently in place will be overburdened by this new development and flooding in Williamsburg Heights will become even more problematic than it is currently; (2) traffic along Jefferson, Seldon, Nester and Meadow Branch is projected to increase significantly creating safety hazards for our neighborhoods; (3) destruction of green space has a direct impact on quality of life in our community; (4) the impact on the value of existing homes.

If these issues cause concern for you, please sign this petition to request that the Wi******er City Council deny the PUD rezoning request.
