We have been working diligently over the last several weeks to ensure our clinic has the appropriate plans in place to continue providing care to our patients while also preventing the spread of illness. Southern Tennessee Regional Health System and its physician practices/clinics are committed to providing the highest quality care and ensuring the safety of our patients, employees, providers, volunteers and visitors at all times. While COVID-19 is new, effectively responding to other infectious diseases is not. We have tested processes and plans in place to respond to situations involving infectious disease year-round.

Due to COVID-19, we have implemented visitor restrictions at our facility. These restrictions include only ONE visitor/caregiver allowed per patient, reducing entry points, and screening of patients, visitors and staff.

We want to notify everyone ahead of their appointment so necessary arrangements can be made to meet these guidelines. Upon entry at both locations both patient and visitor/caregiver will be screened for fever or respiratory symptoms such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or productive cough. No visitor/caregiver with a fever or respiratory symptoms will be permitted.

We want to assure our community that these changes are being made proactively out of an abundance of caution and to empower us to prevent the spread of illness.
