🎉 Happy retirement, Carlene Branton! 🎉

We celebrate an incredible career and an even more incredible woman. Carlene began her journey at what was once Clark County Hospital back in 1970 as a tray maid while still in high school, serving meals to patients with care and compassion. With the support of a nursing scholarship from Clark County Hospital, she went on to nursing school while raising her children, graduating in 1983 and returned here to work as a nurse the very same year.

Over the next 43+ years, Carlene dedicated herself to caring for our community, starting on the Med-Surg unit, moving to the Emergency Department and later transitioning to Radiology. Her commitment, work ethic and heart for patients never wavered.

Beyond her career, Carlene has built a beautiful life — married for over 55 years, with two children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Congratulations, Carlene, on a well-earned retirement. 💐💙

Rebecca was nominated by a patient who praised her exceptional compassion, professionalism and attentiveness. She consistently stayed ahead of her patient’s care, ensured medications were never missed, and made both the patient and their family feel supported and cared for.

Rebecca’s kindness, knowledge and dedication truly set her apart, and we are proud to recognize her as a DAISY Award recipient.

Harrison handles much of the work behind the scenes, and our team relies heavily on him for his consistency and expertise. During a recent system transition, he never missed a beat, quickly adapting and continuing to provide dependable support. He is always willing to help, brings a great attitude to everything he does, and has already excelled in his recently promoted role. Harrison is a tremendous asset to the IT department and the organization as a whole.
