NanandPapa Saltroom AndMore and I are in the process of moving to our new location. To help offset costs and try to make sure we are providing only the best quality experience and clientele are coming in and leaving feeling refreshed, relaxed and happy, we want to establish a fair pricing system for you. I am a separate entity from the Saltroom but my prices are competitive. I will need to raise my rates accordingly. Again, rest assured you are still getting a good deal and the value of my services will complement your experience. From here on out, I am going to establish a sliding scale pricing system for clients who need the value of massage without feeling like they’re pressured to pay too much for their service. I will always treat everyone with dignity and respect and I ask you to please reciprocate that to me. I understand not everyone can afford higher prices for massage, which is why I will offer certain days for clients who need to facilitate that sliding scale. As for the rest of my guests and clientele, services will be priced as follows:

30 minute Swedish: $50
60 minute Swedish: $80
90 minute Swedish: $120
Reflexology: rates start at $60
Hot stone: rates start at $80
Cupping and Gua Sha: $60
Massage and Stretch bundle: $90

For clients who use a sliding scale pricing system, please reach out to me in private and I will rate you accordingly. For those who I come see for mobile massage services, I will quote you on the new pricing as well and may require a prepaid deposit depending on the type of sessions we are doing.

I don’t and won’t condone these kinds of behaviors in my treatment room. Massage therapy can sometimes cause feelings of vulnerability from the client and that can lead to blurred lines. I will always check in with you to make sure you feel in control of your session but also be straightforward in making sure what I am doing is therapeutic only. I will stop and step out and ask you to get dressed and leave if things get unprofessional. This is to protect my reputation as well as the reputation of massage therapy as a whole and the dignity of clientele. I will not tolerate solicitors and do require forms to be filled out prior to being seen to eliminate any further abuse. This is no joke.
Everything is fine and I haven’t had a problem lately, thankfully. But it goes to show “you” that there’s a reason for our licensing and certifications. There’s reasons for the ways we verbally communicate and don’t use negative stereotypes in the treatment room.

It is never ok to impose sexual inuendo on a professional. When a jokester is "just kidding" they're actually condoning privileged verbal and physical acts of violence toward others while caught unaware. "How about a little extra for me, baby?" "What will it take to get a little closer to you?" "How about we meet outside this joint sometime?" "What do you wear when you aren't at work?" "Has anyone ever hit on you?"
