In addition to his dear wife, Hardy is survived by his daughter, Chiquita (Jason) Jefferson, and his precious grandchildren: Isaac Jefferson, Kennedy Jefferson, Ellington Jefferson, and August Jefferson.

Jacinta LaShawn Clark, aged 49, affectionately known as “Shawn,” passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence in Wi******er, Kentucky.

She was born on February 14, 1977, in Lexington, Kentucky, to her loving parents, Janice C. Mason and Randall Hill.

In addition to her parents, Jacinta is survived by her siblings, Anesha Stevens and LaChristian Gill.

Her memory is also cherished by her niece, Nyla Tutt, and nephews Zaiden Tutt, Raijhan Stewart, Kyrie Stewart, Khalil Stewart, Kylan Stewart, and Jeriaus Stevens.

Josephine Clay, age 94, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, after an extended illness at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center, Lexington.

She was born in Richmond, Kentucky, on January 8, 1932, to the late Willie B. and Amelia Jennings.

Her loving presence will be missed by her family, including her children, Vicki Clay, Joella Tevis, James E. (Bernice) Clay Jr., John Johnson, and Sandra Blanton.

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M., followed by the Funeral service at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, located at 305 Elm Street, Richmond, Kentucky. Reverend Clifford Campbell will eulogize, and Rev. Alvin Farris will officiate.

Mamie Louise Bates, aged 70, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, following an extended illness at Clark Regional Medical Center in Wi******er, Kentucky. She was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing.

Born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, on March 18, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Roosevelt Brooks and Delores Brooks Hawkins.

In addition to her parents, Mamie is preceded in death by her daughter, Marissa Bates Stewoord, and her Siblings, sister, Ida Brooks Walker and brother, Roosevelt "PeeWee" Brooks, Jr.

She is survived by her siblings, Rosalie (Cedric) Atkins, and Billy (Cecil) Brooks, former husband, James Bates, and a devoted niece, Michelle Brooks, who will cherish her memory.

Born on August 9, 1963, in Uniontown, Alabama, he was the son of Lena Mae Johnson and the late Charles Edward Johnson Sr.

In addition to his wife and mother, Charles is lovingly survived by his children, Charles Edward Johnson III and Charlena Johnson.

Besides his father, Charles is preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Johnson
