Ann Anderson, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 27 in Lexington, Kentucky. Ann lived a life marked by generosity, resilience, and strength. She was tough, independent, and deeply devoted to her family. She had a big heart, a strong will, and a personality that was as real as it was unforgettable — loving, generous, and, at times, grumpy in the way only someone deeply human and deeply loved can be. She showed her love through action, especially in the kitchen. Cooking was one of the ways she cared for others, and her food brought people together, created lasting memories, and made her home a place of comfort and belonging. Ann is survived by her son, Gary (Leslie) Anderson; her granddaughter, Deborah (Josh) Bean, and great-grandchildren Stella and Oliver; her grandson, Matt (Stacy) Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a steady presence in the lives of those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and her son, Larry Anderson.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, Wi******er, Kentucky.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her dear friend, Annette Dence, and the caring staff at Homestead, for their kindness and compassion.

Ann will be remembered for her strength, her generosity, her cooking, and the love she gave in her own unforgettable way.
