Many nights, this is how I spent my time—
quiet hours after the world went still, a cup of tea nearby, dirt still under my nails, writing the pages one by one. 🌿
This herb book wasn’t rushed. It was lived, tested, prayed over, and written in the same rhythm I tend the land. These pages carry seasons, mistakes, lessons, and the deep belief that plants should be accessible to everyday people.

Soon, those late nights become something you can hold in your hands.

I took time away for deep meditation and reflection—really sitting with what I wanted my little herb farm to become.

THANK YOU for supporting me and sticking around!

What came back to me was simple: herbs should never feel exclusive, complicated, or out of reach. They should feel accessible—something you can reach for in your own kitchen, garden, or backyard.

My approach to herbalism is about teaching everyday people how to care for themselves using the plants around them. No perfection. No overwhelm. Just practical, usable plant wisdom.

That’s exactly why I wrote my book—to take herbalism off the pedestal and put it back into real life, where it belongs. One leaf, one cup, one small habit at a time. 🌿

Most people think calendula is just a pretty flower.

Herbalists know better.

🌼 Calendula has been used for centuries as a gentle but powerful healer, especially for skin and lymph support.

Traditionally, calendula was used to:
• Support skin healing (cuts, rashes, dry winter skin)
• Calm inflammation inside and out
• Support the lymphatic system
• Gently aid digestion when taken as tea

It was considered a daily-use herb — safe, nourishing, and slow-working.

Nothing flashy.
Just consistent plant support doing its job.

If you grow one herb for learning plant medicine, make it calendula.
It teaches patience, observation, and trust in gentle healing.

Some of the most powerful herbal support comes from simple pairings used consistently.

One of our favorite daily combinations?
Lemon balm + nettle.

🍃 Lemon balm gently calms the nervous system, supports mood, and helps take the edge off stress.
🌿 Nettle deeply nourishes the body, supports seasonal allergies, and provides minerals many of us are missing.

Together, they’re often used daily for:
• Nervous system support
• Seasonal allergy relief
• Gentle energy without jitters
• Overall resilience during stressful seasons

This isn’t a “take once and forget it” remedy.
It’s a quiet, daily tea — the kind our bodies respond to over time.

Steep. Sip. Repeat.

Before screens.
Before supplements.
Before stress had a name.

European and early American herbalists ended the day with a simple infusion ritual—herbs grown near the kitchen door, steeped at dusk to quiet the body and mind.

No capsules.
No measurements.
Just plants and patience.

Add lemon balm, chamomile, and lavender to a teapot
Pour hot water and cover
Steep 10 minutes (covered — this part matters)
Sit quietly while it steeps

Drink slowly, no distractions

This was once considered medicine, not a beverage.

Coughs don’t always need something complicated.
Sometimes they just need something gentle and steady.

Here’s our easy herbal cough remedy—made with simple ingredients you probably already have at home 🍯🍋

✨ Easy Herbal Cough Remedy
• Raw honey
• Lemon
• Optional: thyme, ginger, cinnamon

Gently warm the honey, add lemon and herbs, and let it simmer low and slow.
Take a teaspoon as needed or stir into warm tea.

Honey soothes the throat.
Lemon helps loosen mucus.
Thyme supports the lungs.

No harsh stuff.
Just simple plant wisdom doing what it’s always done.

Saving this for later is encouraged 💛
Sharing with a friend who’s coughing? Even better.

🌿 Behind the scenes at Wild Root Farm
Pour before the label and Pack.
Every jar, bag, and bottle passes through my hands — not a machine.

📦 Small batch means:
✔️ I know what’s in every blend
✔️ I slow down and pour with intention
✔️ I think about who might need this — and send a little love with it

This isn’t just an order.
It’s medicine. A story. A leaf that might change someone's day.

And that’s why I’ll keep showing up — one jar at a time.
