This Earth Day, your actions matter. 🌎

Thanks to our community, 1.6 million pounds of electronics were recycled in 2025—protecting the planet while helping Blue Ridge Care support families across our region.

Our Electronic Recycling Program makes it easy to take part. It’s free, safe, and secure, with drop‑off available at every Blue Ridge Care Thrift Shop. All donated electronics are responsibly recycled, and hard drives are securely wiped to protect your information.

Give your unused electronics a second purpose—and help us keep building the impact, together. ♻️

April is Counseling Awareness Month.

Professional counselors help people find new strategies, gain insight, and overcome life’s challenges with compassion and skill. At Blue Ridge Care, our Center for Hope & Healing is part of that commitment.

Whether you’re facing your own health challenges or helping someone navigate theirs, you deserve support that meets you where you are.

In 2025, our team walked beside individuals and families through:

• 1,153 grief support clients — including individuals, families, and loved ones
• 1,001 counseling visits offering steadiness and clarity during difficult seasons
• 6,047 bereavement calls ensuring no one had to navigate grief alone
• 50 community workshops offered at schools, churches, senior living communities, and local organizations (beyond regularly scheduled programs)

Counselors do more than guide — they help people heal, grow, and reclaim hope.

If you or someone you know is grieving and needs emotional support, our team is here to walk beside you with compassion and care you can trust.

Rise, shine, and bloom! 🌸☀️

Blue Ridge Care is proud to support our community’s wellness and connection as the sponsor of the Breakfast Walk at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley during the 99th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® — all in the spirit of this year’s theme, “Keep Blooming Together.”

Start your morning with a refreshing two or three mile walk through the MSV’s scenic trails, taking in rolling pastures, native wildlife, and beautiful spring blooms. After your stroll, enjoy a delicious breakfast from Bonnie Blue Southern Market & Bakery and spend the day exploring the museum and gardens.

We love being part of traditions that bring our community together — and help neighbors stay active, connected, and well.
