Tonight marks the beginning of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish Festival of Lights.

Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and the miracle of a small amount of oil that lasted eight nights — a story rooted in resilience, faith, and the enduring power of light.

As families and communities gather to light the menorah, Hanukkah invites reflection on hope, perseverance, and the importance of bringing light into the lives of others.

We wish a meaningful and peaceful Hanukkah to all who observe. 🕎

🦋 Bringing Adventures Through Grief to Wi******er & Loudoun County

Adventures Through Grief is a guided support program, led by our Bereavement Counselors, that helps teens (13–17) and young adults (18–26) explore their grief through creativity, storytelling, and meaningful connection.

Through a collaborative table-top role-playing experience, participants are guided through a safe and engaging space where they can better understand their feelings, strengthen coping skills, and feel less alone after the loss of someone significant in their lives.

If you’re in Wi******er or Loudoun County, VA and want to register, connect with Blue Ridge Care:

🌍 Human Rights Day 2025 🌍

On this day, we commemorate the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 — a landmark reminder that dignity, equality, and justice belong to everyone, everywhere.

In this message, Volker Türk, High Commissioner for Human Rights, calls on us all to stand up for human rights — even when it feels hard — because they are the foundation of a just and inclusive world. https://ow.ly/aX7a50XGS1f

At Blue Ridge Care, we believe everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and a voice. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to inclusion, respect, and extraordinary care — for individuals, families, and communities. 🦋

💙 WOW — we are still feeling the excitement from Giving Tuesday!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we not only met our $10,000 goal — we exceeded it! Because of you, “Adela’s Room” is now becoming a reality.

Our first purchase using these funds? A pediatric SleepSafe Beds — a critical piece of equipment that will help keep our young patients safe and comfortable.

We are beyond grateful for each and every gift that made this possible — and to Adela’s family for sharing her with us and the community, inspiring this meaningful project.

Here’s a special message from Adela’s sister, Tina, our Children and Families Grief Support Coordinator at the Center for Hope and Healing:

"Thank you so much for honoring our Adela in this way. We are blown away and unsurprised — she always had a way of showing off. Thank you so much for being part of her legacy with your generosity." — Tina, Wesley, and Gene

💙 From all of us at Blue Ridge Care, thank you for helping us bring comfort, care, and hope to the families who need it most.

Exciting news from Wi******er, VA! Each November, the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival® unveils its theme for the upcoming season — and for the 99th Festival, they proudly announced “Keep Blooming Together.”

As the Title Sponsor of the Breakfast Walk, Blue Ridge Care is honored to support a tradition that brings our region together in celebration of community, connection, and shared purpose.

This year’s theme reflects the spirit of unity and growth that defines our community. The puzzle-piece logo symbolizes strength, connection, and the way we’re all part of something bigger — a message that resonates deeply with our work and our commitment to expanding access to extraordinary care.

We look forward to the 99th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®, taking place April 24–May 3, 2026. Together, let’s keep blooming.
