Amherst Dental Practice A family-owned dental office committed first and foremost to our patient's comfort and well-being.

Amherst Dental Practice is a family owned practice that was established in 1987, giving Dr. Gerald Brown over 30 years of experience in the field of dentistry. Dr. Brown was born in Houma, Louisiana into a military family that traveled all over the world until settling in Falls Church, Virginia. He graduated from Annandale High School and The College of William and Mary, where he received a Bachel

or of Arts in Economics. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in 1986. After graduation, He practiced for a dentist in Oakton, Virginia for one year and then moved to Winchester where he established his private practice. Dr. Gerald Brown received his fellowship for the Academy of General Dentistry in 1996. He then went on to receive his mastership in 2000 which required over 1,600 hours of continuing education. To this day, he continues to further educate himself to better his patients!
