Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day.

One of the most dangerous realities right now is this: you cannot see, smell, or taste fentanyl and you can’t tell the difference between a real pill and a counterfeit one.

Fake pills are being made to look like legitimate prescription medications like oxycodone, Percocet, or Xanax but many contain fentanyl, which can be deadly even in very small amounts.

This isn’t about scare tactics—it’s about awareness and prevention.

💜 Talk with your kids and teens about:
• Never taking pills that aren’t prescribed to them
• The risks of “just trying something once”
• Looking out for their friends and speaking up

💜 As a community, we can:
• Keep conversations open and judgment-free
• Share accurate information
• Encourage safe choices and support

SAVE THE DATE: APRIL 29TH, JOIN US FOR DENIM DAY!

Denim Day originated in Italy in 1992 when a r**e case was overturned by the Italian Supreme Court because the victim was wearing tight jeans. Women protested by wearing jeans on the Supreme Court steps. On Demim Day, we wear denim to show solidarity with survivors, as a symbolic reminder that sexual assault is never the victim’s fault, no matter what they were wearing.

I’ve learned that I don’t always have to be right.

There were moments I was so sure of myself, only to realize later that I missed something important.

It’s not always easy to admit that, especially when pride gets in the way. But I’m learning that listening more and being open to correction doesn’t make me less, it actually helps me grow.

Now I try to pause first, hear people out, and ask myself, “What can I learn from this?”

And slowly, I’m realizing that being teachable is one of the best ways to become better.

Happy Earth Day 🌎

Just like we care for our mental health, caring for the world around us matters too. Taking a moment to step outside, breathe fresh air, and reconnect with nature can be incredibly grounding.

Today is a gentle reminder: tending to our environment is a form of stewardship—and caring for ourselves is part of that too.

Be well, and don’t forget to get a little sunshine or fresh air today! 💚
