❤️ During Heart Month, we’re proud to highlight the expertise behind our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Miranda Cunningham, RN, Care Coordinator at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, holds the Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) credential — the only nationally recognized certification dedicated specifically to cardiac rehab.
This advanced credential reflects specialized knowledge in helping patients safely recover, rebuild strength, and regain confidence after a cardiac event. It’s just one of the many ways our team is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate heart care close to home. 💙

A small switch can support your heart. ❤️🍫
February is Heart Month — and even your chocolate choice can make a difference.
✔ Dark chocolate (75% cocoa or higher) contains more antioxidants and less sugar.
✔ In moderation, it may help support circulation and heart health.
✔ Milk chocolate is typically higher in sugar and lower in cocoa content.
You don’t have to skip the sweet treat — just make a heart-smart choice.

❤️ During Heart Month, we’re proud to highlight the life-changing impact of cardiac rehabilitation and the patients who inspire us every day.
Cardiac rehab is more than monitored exercise... It’s confidence restored, strength rebuilt, education gained, and peace of mind rediscovered. It helps patients safely return to the activities they love while reducing their risk of future heart issues.
This month, we celebrate the courage it takes to show up, do the work, and trust the process. And we’re honored to be part of that journey.
If you or a loved one has experienced a cardiac event, ask your provider about cardiac rehabilitation. It truly can make all the difference. ❤️
