Our hearts go out to Barrow County Community and everyone that has been affected and impacted by today's tragedy. Please know that you are not alone in what you are feeling surrounding the events that have taken place. This has affected and will continue to impact parents, students, teachers, school workers, friends, family members, law enforcement, first responders, nurses, doctors, etc. We pray for healing for our community. Hey Guys this is a family friend of Nicole’s and she went missing near the barrow/Gwinnett line. She might have been spotted near Hamilton Mill area. Keeps your eyes and contact Gwinnett PD if you see her please!!

Update:
GCPD located Connie in the woods less than a mile from her house. She was safe and checked out by EMS.

GCPD needs the public's help locating Connie Cole age 69. She was last seen by her husband at 6:30 a.m. at home on Versailles Pl. Cole left on foot with her cell phone and did not have access to a vehicle & frequents Little Mulberry Park.

On Monday, November 15, at approximately 12 noon, we will leave the Jackson County Sheriff's Office in a procession for Deputy Lena Marshall. This is a map of the route we will take.

We will leave the Sheriff's Office and come out Jackson Parkway to Hwy 15 and turn right, going straight through the City of Jefferson. We will travel out Hwy 11 to the round about and turn right onto Hwy 124. We will travel through the intersection of Hwy 53 continuing on Hwy 124, turning into the upper driveway of Free Chapel Church.

As the Sheriff, I would ask that if at all possible we would like everyone to line the streets snd roadways to honor Deputy Lena Marshall. She paid an ultimate sacrifice serving and protecting the citizens of Jackson County.

We want to honor her the best that we can. Help us to do this.
