Join Us on a Pilgrimage to Greece & Turkey – 2026

Saint Joseph Living Center community members are invited to take part in a meaningful 10-night pilgrimage to Greece and Turkey, walking in the footsteps of St. Paul.

Led by Rev. Fr. Ben Vinjoe of Our Lady of La Salette Church (Brooklyn, CT), this spiritual journey will take place August 24 – September 4, 2026 and includes visits to sacred and historic destinations such as Athens, Delphi, Corinth, Mykonos, Patmos, Santorini, Ephesus, and Istanbul, among many others.

We rang in the New Year a little late—but just as joyfully—at Saint Joseph Living Center !

Residents enjoyed wonderful live music with Selena with Soul, raised a toast of sparkling cider to welcome 2026, and shared some classic cheese and crackers to round out the celebration. Proof that it’s never too late to celebrate good music, good company, and a bright year ahead!

After more than 23 years of dedicated service, Kathy Calvo is celebrating her well-earned retirement. Kathy has truly been a jack of all trades, bringing humor, deep institutional knowledge, and genuine kindness to everything she did.

Her comedic relief and caring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. We wish Kathy all the very best in this exciting new chapter and a retirement filled with happiness and well-deserved relaxation.

SJLC staff came together for a festive holiday party featuring raffle prizes, games, a feast of delicious food, and an impressive spread of homemade desserts. A wonderful way to celebrate the season and our incredible team.

We were so grateful for a wonderful visit from students of the Mennonite School of Hampton, who came to sing and spread joy with our residents.
Their beautiful voices and kind presence brightened the day and brought many smiles. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with our community!

Whether she’s on the floor or lending a helping hand wherever needed, her presence makes a difference — and even ensures a “good night” for all.

Today was Pajama Day at Saint Joseph Living Center as we honored the incredible children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center bravely fighting cancer. Wearing our pajamas was a small gesture of comfort and solidarity in support of these young warriors.

Last week we kicked off our Staff Christmas Events with Crazy Christmas Day!
Our team (and even a few festive residents!) went all-out, decked head-to-toe in holiday cheer. From bright colors to jolly accessories, the smiles were nonstop.
