We were so grateful for a wonderful visit from students of the Mennonite School of Hampton, who came to sing and spread joy with our residents.
Their beautiful voices and kind presence brightened the day and brought many smiles. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with our community!

Mariah is described time and again as warm, gentle, and incredibly caring — someone whose kindness truly radiates. She greets everyone with the same genuine smile, no matter how busy or tired she may be, and approaches her work with patience, knowledge, and compassion.

Residents, families, and coworkers alike shared how helpful, efficient, and dependable Mariah is, noting that she truly cares for her residents and makes everyone feel comfortable and supported. Whether she’s on the floor or lending a helping hand wherever needed, her presence makes a difference — and even ensures a “good night” for all.

Today was Pajama Day at Saint Joseph Living Center as we honored the incredible children at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center bravely fighting cancer. Wearing our pajamas was a small gesture of comfort and solidarity in support of these young warriors.

Last week we kicked off our Staff Christmas Events with Crazy Christmas Day!
Our team (and even a few festive residents!) went all-out, decked head-to-toe in holiday cheer. From bright colors to jolly accessories, the smiles were nonstop.

Community members joined us for a fun afternoon of BINGO, and our lucky winners headed home with homemade soup. Nothing beats warm soup on a cold day—and sharing it with friends makes it even better.

We’re excited to share that you can now purchase an engraved brick through our St. Joseph Living Center “A Walk to Remember” campaign. This is a meaningful way to honor a loved one, celebrate a resident, or show your support for our community.

By ordering a custom brick, your message will become a permanent part of our courtyard walkway. Each brick is laser-engraved with your chosen inscription, automatically centered for a polished and lasting tribute. If you’d like to honor more than one person, simply submit a separate form for each brick.
