Beth Rennig - Reiki

Beth Rennig - Reiki Reiki Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive guidance, Certified Forest Bathing Guide & Licensed NYSDEC Hiking Guide #9457

Reiki healing sessions with Reiki Master practitioner, Beth Rennig, range from 60-90 minutes and are held in multiple locations: Catskill, Woodstock, and Windham. Beth also leads mindful walks (forest bathing) and hiking in the Catskills. Please visit my site for upcoming walks and hikes. A Reiki healing session with Beth is gentle, relaxing and restorative. Each session is a deeply personal experience that both supports your overall well-being and also enhances your own innate ability to change and heal. Like a massage for your energy body, Reiki removes layers of stress, resets your nervous system and returns balance on every level—-physical, mental and emotional. At the beginning of a session, Beth will take a few minutes to review your specific needs or requests. During the session, you will be fully clothed, on a cozy massage table. Placing her hands softly on your body, Beth guides Reiki energy to flow through you. You may feel sensations of warmth, tingling, or a gentle pulsation as you receive the Reiki. As the session draws to a close, Beth will take a few moments to reflect on any insights or sensations that emerged during the healing. Beth offers intuitive guidance, which can provide you with valuable insights and clarity. Disclaimer

When December settles over the earth, the world steps into its darker beauty. Nights lengthen like ancient pathways. Frost gathers along the edges of the earth. Light thins into something pale and sacred, and everything in the natural world begins to speak in a slower, older language.

This is the season when you may feel the pull of the subtle enchantments that only winter can hold. The hidden magic shimmering in the quiet silver of morning. The stories carried by the wind as it moves through bare branches. The deep lessons offered by creatures who walk the cold with instinct sharp as bone.

A different kind of wisdom begins to rise now. One that does not hurry and does not shout. A wisdom shaped by patience. By shadow. By the slow turning of the earth beneath the frozen ground. It reaches into the inner chambers where noise has lived too long. It loosens old knots. It awakens what has been waiting in the dark.

There is a sacred beauty in creating small winter rituals. A stone placed with intention. A branch laid upon a table. A candle lit not for brightness but for presence. Even a moment of still observation can reveal the ancient cycle. Endings folding into beginnings. Darkness shaping the first quiet breath of light.

And there is a fierce, tender magic in writing letters or notes during these long nights. Do you feel the beauty of shaping words that seem lifted from a winter grove. Lines that steady the spirit. Truths that return the body to its instinct. Reminders that winter is never empty but alive in its wild and mysterious ways.

December asks for presence. For a slower step. For eyes that can see what moves beneath the surface. For a willingness to be touched by the quiet force that rises when the world grows still.

Winter carries its own medicine. Its own guidance. Its own ancient way of calling you back to the deepest part of yourself.

There have been a lot of sad, gut wrenching moments this year - personally and in the collective. What I have learned is that my inner light will never be dimmed. My drive to always find beauty, wonder and creative answers to our problems is stronger than ever. I’m grateful for all the wonderful folks who have been in Reiki sessions with me, in group meditation or on the trail taking in the natural world. Sending big, huge blessings and love to all beings everywhere.

Release, bring in healing and tune-up your whole being

I offer private sessions both in person and remotely by phone/FaceTime (or Skype).

During a session, I help you relax and release energy and bring in healing energy, while in safe, supported space.

The word "Reiki" translated means universal life force energy. Many cultures have similar words such as: chi, qi, mana, prana, shakti, orenda, kundalini and vital force. Also referred to as subtle energy, the soul, and aura.

Reiki healing is a gentle, hands-on healing method. Derived from an ancient healing method in the Himalayas, Reiki gained popularity in Japan in the early 1900's. Reiki brings deep relaxation and helps your body to initiate its own healing response. Today, Reiki is accepted and used with western medical treatments, as well as in the operating room.
