Oftentimes our students face the fear of strapping into a bi-ski for the first time, going to the top of the mountain for the first time, or sliding down a black diamond for the first time ⛷️🏂. We see people face fears all the time on the mountain, and now we're giving some folks the opportunity to share their stories!

Our next Open House will take place on Saturday, March 7, where six members of the ASF community - students, volunteers, coaches, family members - will take the mic and share the story of them facing their biggest fear, and how they came out of it on the other side🎤!

We'll be pouring wines from The Vineyard at Windham🍷 and beer from Mountain King Brewery🍺! We will also serve complimentary snacks!

We have some exciting news to share from our athletes at the Special Olympics New York Winter State Games!

Matt Colella earned Slalom and Giant Slalom participant ribbons 👏

Zach Elder won Gold🥇 in the Slalom and Giant Slalom

Mark Huang earned the Bronze🥉 in the Giant Slalom and placed 4th in the Slalom

Charlie Kleiman earned the silver medals 🥈 in both the Giant Slalom and Slalom

Ava McIntosh finished third🥉 in both the Giant Slalom and the Slalom

and Tess Sheridan earned two gold medals 🥇, placing first in the Giant Slalom and the Slalom

Congratulations to our stellar athletes who competed!

Rock out with the ASF at this year’s Ralph Hartman Tribute Cup🎸! This is our season-ending celebration, where all students who took a lesson can show off what they learned in a fun race⛷️🏂 down Windham Mountain Club's "Whiteway" Trail❄️!

After shredding the slopes🎿, we'll be shredding the guitar🎸, as later that evening, we’ll celebrate our great season with a Rockin' Hartman Dance Party at the ASF Lodge🤘! Racers and guests are encouraged to wear rock 'n' roll attire or even dress up like their favorite rock artist🎤!

The Hartman takes place on Saturday, March 14. The race begins at 12:30 p.m. after a morning of lessons, while the Rock 'n' Roll-themed Hartman Party begins at 5:30! For more information, including registration for our students, click the link below!

Want to ski on the final weekend of our winter season? If so, tomorrow is your chance to request a lesson⛷️🏂! Click the link below tomorrow morning from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. to request one final adaptive ski or snowboard lesson for the season❄️
