Hello clients! Susan here. My February and March are open for booking at this time.

My time off was needed at the right time with my dad’s passing and an injury to my back. I am recovering from both still but have openings available but also in a limited capacity on Tuesday Thursday.

I’m hoping to be full speed soon with this slow start back! Winter seems to be in a chilly pattern but as you know the shop is warm and cozy with me and Chandler available for self care. Let’s stay positive and kind with spring warmth on our minds. ✨✨✨✨✨

Winter is for rest. Sure New Years is a time for reflection but save those resolutions for spring renewal. Save your energy and pull your power back into yourself then shine shine shine!

Remember Susan is resting for January and I’ll have times open again soon.

Hello clients! Susan here! A reminder my schedule is closed for January 2026 for a much needed self care inspired time off. Ya know like when I tell you to take care of yourself. ☺️

I will post some updates and let you know when the schedule reopens. Wishing you a restorative winter and refreshing energy for the new year. As always you are loved and perfect just the way you are!

Thank you clients for your grace this week. My sweet dad and Chandler’s granddad passed in Texas and I’ve been making travel plans and grieving our family’s loss and there’s been some cancellations on my part. I know you understand because we are always sharing about family and balance.

And I posted this photo from when I first opened Healistics and he dried his rose petals for me to make herbal creations for the shop. Always a part of Healistics both my mom and dad.

Polk City folks! The RV will be closed for winter due to those upcoming overnight low temps in November. But never fear I’ll open as soon as the weather allows! I’ll have a new offering of chair massage and we will get back to Reflexology and Reiki in the woods!

A client didn’t arrive for her appointment today. I waited as I do then sent a message asking if everything was ok? And how I could get her rescheduled. A little later her family messaged that she had passed.

You and I have these little hour long connections. These times mean a lot to me. Yes they support me and it’s my business of course. But on a deeper level those hours mean the world to me. As a little girl I wanted to help animals and then as I watched my mom help students I wanted to help people.

This client and I laughed a lot. We talked about the wildflowers and birds at the rv. I worked on her feet and she would nod off peacefully and would say she felt so much better. In my heart I know, it’s not just a job it’s a connection.

Just a reminder that short moments are as impactful as long ones. We can change someone’s world with a simple touch and that goes both ways. Hug a little longer today, love a little louder and understand a little deeper, we are all going through something. You are loved, Susan

Receiving bodywork and energy work can change you. A release of energy stored in the body can brighten your entire body and mindset. The release can move you forward, bring you back to life and clear the air. Just being in the presence of an energy practitioner like Chandler and I, gives the soul a sense of connection and peace. It’s beyond relaxation. It’s multidimensional, knowing you are safe as your therapist holds space for you. It’s our gift and way of life.

A gentle reminder that all we have is now.

Looking too much forward and too much backward keeps us out of the present. Your best control is on what is right in front of you. If you have trouble with brain chatter - listen to your breath. If you have trouble with the past creeping up - look around and focus on something right beside you. If you have trouble spinning out on things that could happen - look at what you can control this moment.

You don’t have to grind and you don’t have to be all you can be. You CAN be YOU because you are enough. What you’re doing is your BEST. Resting is not being lazy.

You are loved just as you are. Have a day of moments in the now. ✨✨✨✨
