🍬 The sweetest sockhop around!🍬
Our staff went back to the fabulous ’50s for a fun reverse trick-or-treating event! Dressed in poodle skirts, leather jackets, and classic retro flair, we cruised down the halls and went door to door handing out sweet treats to our wonderful residents. 🍫
Spreading smiles and laughter faster than a jukebox tune! We had plenty of candy to go around and spread some Halloween cheer— it was a blast from the past - because who says trick-or-treating is just for kids? 🍭

Our team proudly joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and what a wonderful day it was! The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, and we had a fantastic turnout of staff, families, and friends — all walking together for a cause that’s close to our hearts.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Together, this Village is making a difference, one step at a time! 👟

Coffee with a Cop was a latte fun Tuesday morning! ☕😄

Lt. Cherniack spilled the beans (the metaphorical kind) about the big move to the new police department HQ. Between packing boxes and untangling cords, it sounds like they’re trading in the old station for a sleek new spot packed with all the latest tech!

There were lots of laughs, great chats, and just enough caffeine to power a small city. Plenty of great conversations were had, fueled by coffee and the dangerously delicious pastries from DORO Marketplace

🍂🇩🇪 Oktoberfest Celebration! 🇩🇪🍂
We had a wunderbar time celebrating Oktoberfest! 🎉 Our happy hour featured German wine, soft pretzels with beer cheese and Bavarian mustard 🥨🍷 — all enjoyed to the lively sounds of accordion music that had everyone tapping their feet! 🎶🪗
Dinner was a delicious feast of bratwurst, German potato salad, and a slice of rich German chocolate cake 🍰.
Prost to good food, great company, and festive fun! 🍻💙🤍

🎶 What a wonderful day for our fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association — The Solid Oak Big Band filled the air with incredible music, as we sold festive fall-flavored tea breads (every crumb for a cause🍁). With beautiful weather and an amazing turnout, our community truly showed its heart. 💜
100% of the proceeds went directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Thank you to everyone who supported, danced, and donated!
We’re not done yet — see you at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, October 19th! Come join our team and keep the momentum going!

🎶 Today we welcomed The Centipedes Band, featuring Dale — daughter of our very own resident, Marguerite. They packed the room with their incredible talent! The highlight of the afternoon was when Marguerite joined her daughter on stage to sing a heartfelt version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. 🌈 It was a truly beautiful moment of music, family, and love.
