Hear ye, hear ye! 🏰🎺 Last week our residents stepped back in time with a festive outing to the Boar’s Head Festival. We continued to have a very musically adventurous time with a trumpet performance, by Vin Cassotta, right here in our community during our happy hour. The fun never stops at Stonebrook! 🎶🎵

Today we gathered to celebrate Laurie’s engagement to Keith! 💍🥂
We toasted the happy couple with champagne and a raspberry-filled cake (Laurie’s favorite), surrounded by beautiful shades of green to match her favorite color. 💚

One of the sweetest moments was gifting Laurie a “Best Pup” bandana for her dog Duke, who will proudly serve as the ring bearer on the big day! 🐾
We were also honored to celebrate alongside Laurie’s parents, including her father Jim, who proudly joins us as a fellow Stonebrook bus driver (see the video in the comment section of his toast).

Congratulations, Laurie & Keith — we are so happy for you! 💕

Cheers to ringing in 2026 together! 🥂✨
Our New Year’s Eve celebration was full of sparkle with delicious hors d’oeuvres, champagne toasts, and lots of laughter. We counted down to our very own 2026 ball drop and joined voices to sing Auld Lang Syne, welcoming the new year with joy, friendship, and festive cheer. Here’s to new beginnings and wonderful memories ahead! 🎉🎶

Today Sandra Caron from Sandy's Fabulous Bling Boutique (a Paparazzi Accessories Consultant) and her granddaughter, Aurora Rose, helped distribute Blessing Bags for all our residents and staff in memory care. We are beyond grateful for all their donations, as this certainly has boosted our holiday spirits! Everyone left with either a new ring, bracelet, earring, or necklace and of course a smile! 😁💎

🚌🍽️🖼️ Our residents enjoyed a masterpiece of a day! Yesterday we first enjoyed a riverfront view at lunchtime followed by an inspiring visit to the New Britain Art Museum to view the timeless Norman Rockwell exhibit. From warm smiles to classic scenes of everyday life, Rockwell’s art sparked memories, conversation, and plenty of admiration.
