Several Medicare Advantage insurers have announced they will no longer offer plans in Vermont and New Hampshire starting in 2026. TOMORROW, our Healthcare Connect Navigator will give a talk at the Windsor Public Library to help community members understand recent changes in Medicare.

This fall’s Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period (now through December 7) is especially important for patients affected by carrier withdrawals or network changes in Vermont and New Hampshire. This phenomenon is not unique to our region – it is playing out this fall in rural markets across the country. Visit www.medicare.gov to learn about open enrollment and compare your Medicare coverage options.

As an informatics nurse, Liz helps integrate nursing practice and processes with technology systems, contributing to projects related to implementing, optimizing, and sustaining healthcare technology improvements.
