Starting tomorrow, March 2, ECU Health Bertie Hospital and ECU Health Chowan Hospital will offer updated walk-in hours for outpatient laboratory services:

Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon
Closed Sundays and holidays.

Please remember to bring your lab order, photo ID and insurance card.

NCDHHS recommends that anyone age 1 year and older who is not vaccinated get the measles vaccine. Vaccination helps protect you — and the people around you.

With confirmed cases of measles in North Carolina, now is the time to educate yourself on measles and the MMR vaccine to protect yourself and your family.

Measles is a very contagious disease, but it can be prevented with a vaccine. It spreads through the air and by close contact with someone who is sick. The virus can stay in the air for up to two hours after a person leaves the area.
