‼️ This is an emergency. Folks who benefit from will not see money on their EBT cards starting today, November 1st.

While this crisis may have started in Washington, DC, Connecticut fully owns it if we don't do more. As one of the wealthiest states in the country, no one should go hungry here.

If you agree, use our toolkit (bit.ly/CTSNAPtoolkit) to raise your voice and ask the State to not let our neighbors go hungry.

Call or email your state representative and senator (find them here: cga.ct.gov/asp/menu/cgafindleg.asp) and/or the Governor's office (860-566-4840; governor.lamont@ct.gov) and tell them we want SNAP fully funded through the rest of the year and we need a plan for implementation on the work requirements.

SNAP is not only the leading anti-hunger policy but an economic policy generating $1.50 in economic activity for every $1 invested. On top of letting families go hungry, will be creating a potentially very damaging economic climate if it continues to do nothing more.
