Do y’all remember the cookies that didn’t make it back to the car? 👀

Well… apparently some of our staff were a little jealous. 😂

We teasingly told our sweet patient that after Derek left with those fresh homemade cookies, we couldn’t believe none of them made it back to the rest of us. The very next morning, she showed up with a whole batch just for our Winfield crew — talk about the sweetest surprise!

They were crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and still warm. You could truly taste the love in every bite. ❤️

It’s the little moments like this that make what we do so special. We are so grateful for the kindness our patients show us — and we promise next time, we’re guarding the cookies a little closer!
