Who benefits from sensory supports?

Short answer: more people than we may realize.

Sensory supports are tools that help nervous systems feel safer, steadier, and more regulated.

They can support people with:
• ADHD, Autism, and other neurodevelopmental differences
• Sensory Processing Disorder or sensory sensitivities
• Anxiety, PTSD, and CPTSD
• Migraines, vestibular disorders, and dysautonomia
• Traumatic brain injury
• Dementia and other neurocognitive conditions
• Misophonia

And honestly? Anyone who wants to feel more comfortable.

Headphones, quiet spaces, visual supports, movement breaks, fidgets expand access so more people can feel present and able to participate meaningfully.

When we normalize sensory supports, we create spaces where more people can stay, participate, and belong.
