Therapy in Action: Frosty’s Comeback Story ☃️

Meet our newest patient, Frosty — recently admitted to Winfield Senior Living Community for physical and occupational therapy after… a fall. ❄️😅

When Frosty arrived, he needed total dependent assistance. Thanks to therapy targeting:
• Overall strength
• Balance
• Standing tolerance

He’s now modified independent (with a few tethers to keep him from melting under pressure 😉).

☕ Fun Frosty Facts:
• Loves hot cocoa
• Spreads Christmas cheer wherever he goes
• Is back to doing what he loves — standing tall and bringing the holiday spirit

Huge shoutout to Annette R., COTA and Becca S., PTA for helping Frosty get back on his feet (literally).

USD 465 students have truly enriched our residents' Christmas season experience. With caroling from the Winfield High School Choirs & Whittier Elementary to the Winfield, Ks FFA Chapter decorating cookies during a chapter meeting and then delivering the cookies. We extend our sincerest gratitude to all involved! Merry Christmas 🎅🎄🤶
