Happy Lunar New Year and welcome to the Year of the Horse!
Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the new year based on the lunar calendar and is celebrated across many Asian cultures as a time of renewal, family, and good fortune. One meaningful tradition is the giving of red envelopes, which symbolize luck, prosperity, and well wishes for the year ahead.
Our student group, ADAPT (Advocating Diversity and Acceptance in Physical Therapy), brought this tradition to life by decorating the student lounge and sharing red envelopes within our community.
We’re grateful for students who help foster inclusion and bring meaningful traditions to campus. Wishing everyone a year of health, happiness, and prosperity!
