It's 2023, a new year and a great time to make small changes that can have a BIG impact on our mental health. Here's our third suggestion: go electronics-free for a set time each day. Give your mind permission to be visionary on its own without a bunch of outside stimulus. Even a short anti-tech window can help brighten your mental health. Add in some sunshine and fresh air, and you'll be feeling more energetic in no time.

It's 2023, a new year and a great time to make small changes that can have a BIG impact on our mental health. Here's our second suggestion: get more active. You don't have to hit the treadmill every day, but do try to move your body more, whether that's dancing, swimming, walking or just parking further away from the grocery store, or purposefully making more trips from the laundry room to the linen closet. With a little effort, you'll be surprised at how much better you feel.

Congratulations and best wishes to all graduating seniors at Lowry High School and McDermitt High School. We are always excited for graduation day, but it's even more special for us this year as we have one of our own who will participate this evening. Our dear Emily has worked so hard to get to this point and we can't wait to see all the wonderful things she will accomplish in the coming years. Best wishes to all!

Many of our friends sit at desks all day, which can really wreak havoc on the neck, back and even legs.

If you sit at a desk all day, here’s a quick and effective stretch to reduce stiffness and help improve circulation:

Place one hand under your elbow.

Lift your elbow and stretch it across your chest. Don't rotate your body as you stretch.

Hold the stretch for 30 seconds. You'll feel tension in the back of your shoulder.

Relax and slowly return to the starting position.

Repeat the stretch with the other arm.

Do this a couple of times of day and you'll notice a good difference.
