He was born on May 2, 1955, to Andrew and Dorothy Williams. He spent his life grounded in love, hard work, and the simple pleasures that mattered most to him. Charlie was a devoted family man. He found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved-especially his grandkids. Before he was unable to play you would often find him with a guitar in his hand and a smile on his face. Music was his language, laughter, his currency, and family his world. Charlie worked as a skilled leather smith for 30 plus years earning respect for his craftsmanship, dedication, and pride in doing things the right way. Outside of work, he was known for his storytelling, quick wit, contagious laugh and that mischievous twinkle in his eye-especially when it came to moonshine. Jamie Collier

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Collier, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished friend, who departed this life December 4, 2025, at the age of 81. Jamie was born on January 30, 1944, in Winnsboro, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her family and the beauty of the East Texas landscape. She grew up in the Stout community just south of Winnsboro with her parents, William Gilbert Bellomy and Ila Harris. She loved her home place and the outdoors. Watching wildlife, growing flowers, vegetables and playing in the dirt.

After a rocky start in school, she learned to read and made this a big part of her life. She read for information and for enjoyment. She went from text books to detective fiction to romance and lastly to biblical history of the author's interpretation. She was a dedicated educator; Jamie earned her masters degree after graduating from East Texas of Commerce. Thanks, and gig'em. She taught school in Athens, Tyler and other small towns in east Texas. While making sure she was back with her dad on the weekends. "Be home before dark" he advised and she followed through with that last week. Who knew that her similar experience of playing school with Sherry and Sarah would lead to her first job.

When she was shaping the minds of countless students, sometimes providing clothing to the students who were in need. She also served the community through her roles with the Dallas Police Department, the Dallas Tax Department, and the Public Works Department for the City of Dallas. Jamie's passion for knowledge and service left a lasting impact on those around her.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Jamie was a woman of many talents and interests. She was an exceptional painter and photographer, capturing the beauty of life through her artistic vision. A gifted pianist, she found joy in music, and her love for cycling, outdoor walks, and gardening reflected her appreciation for nature and the world around her. She was a good cook and made the best fried chicken, lemon meringue pies and pecan pies. She really enjoyed coming back home to the farm. Also, the time she got to spend in the country with her family.

Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, William Gilbert Bellomy and Ila Harris-Bellomy and dear cousins, Billy Harris, Tommy Harris, Jerry Craddock, Winona Bithell, and James Volley Davis. God saw you were tired and a cure was not to be. He put his arms around and whispered, "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating; Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
