Phyllis A. McClenathan was a long-term Winona Health FBC nurse who provided compassionate care in our Family Birth Center for 20 years, and passed away in January 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Established by her husband, Dean McClenathan, and their children through the Winona Health Foundation, this scholarship honors her legacy of excellence and heartfelt care.

We were excited to have the inflatable colon here in our community—one of only seven in the state!

Our caregivers joined Dr. Broghammer to help spark conversations about colon cancer screening and why it matters. Because screening doesn’t just detect colon cancer—it can actually help prevent it.
