💉 How to Make Your SQ Injections Easy & Mostly Painless

If injections make you nervous—you’re not alone! The good news: subcutaneous (SQ) injections shouldn’t hurt when done correctly.

Here are my top comfort tips to make your experience smooth and stress-free:

✅ Let alcohol dry fully before injecting (wet alcohol = sting!)
✅ Keep the needle dry — medication on the needle tip can cause extra stinging
✅ Pinch the fat, not the muscle for true SQ placement
✅ Insert quickly, inject slowly for minimal sensation
✅ Warm the syringe in your hand for 30–60 seconds - or let it sit out on the counter for a few minutes before injection.
✅ Rotate sites to prevent soreness and bruising
✅ Go at a 45–90° angle depending on needle size and body type. Generally, 90° is fine unless you are VERY lean.

🚫 Common Mistakes to Avoid:
• Injecting through wet alcohol
• having medication on the needle tip before injecting
• Hitting the same site repeatedly - best to rotate locations

Italy bans potassium bromate and strictly limits glyphosate (Round Up) — two things still allowed in many U.S. wheat products. Italian noodles are simply cleaner, less processed, and easier on digestion.
